The Rialto Freedom and Cultural Society had its 13th annual luncheon honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. on Sunday, January 14, 2001. In addition to a speech by Rialto City Councilman, Kurt Wilson, a scholarship was awarded to Antoinette Marie Smith. Also, Academic Achievement Awards went to Richard Lyndale Eberheart, Tanisha Nicole Flowers, and Kenney Kilgore, Jr.
