Athletic Director Roger Reupert at Eisenhower High School was recently featured on the front page of the San Bernardino Sun. Surrounded by memorabilia from 28 years as A.D., including a CIF Athletic Director of the Year award, Reupert smiled as he brandished his famous pencils. As the caption under the picture states: "Roger Reupert can wear down the entire length of a pencil in one day in his job as Ike's A.D."
After the article was published in The Sun, several members of the Ike staff went over to Reupert's office to collect his autograph on their copies of the paper!
