Eisenhower High School students Patrick Holm and Edward Duque traveled recently to Nashville, Tenn. to participate in the FBLA national competition. Patrick and Edward returned home with a first place finish in desktop publishing.
To reach the national level, Patrick and Edward had to compete at the state event in Irvine. They had to take the desktop skills test two weeks before that competition. At the state competition, which involved a written test, they placed second, thus allowing them to compete at the national level.
