Eisenhower High School wrestler, Matt Fitu, made it through the first day of competition at the CIF state wrestling competition. Even though Fitu was defeated by the San Diego section champion, Nikola Dragovic, Fitu earned a first round consolation pin.
Fitu will need to win his first two matches on Saturday to place.
