John Murphy's regular Prep Sports column in the San Bernardino Sun newspaper featured recently retired EHS Athletic Director, Roger Reupert. The occasion was a meeting of the Citrus Belt Area athletic directors and Reupert was the surprised guest of honor.
Well known at Ike and with fellow athletic directors for his unusual gag prizes, Reupert was on the receiving end this time. Reupert was given a phone card (already expired) and an invitation to come visit the CIF office in Cerritos any time he wants. The office was recently moved to Los Alamitos.
