Eisenhower High School girls basketball player, Shanee Russell, was named Female Athlete of the Week in the San Bernardino Sun newspaper. In the Tuesday, February 17, 2004, edition of The Sun, Russell was celebrated for both a career-high 16 points and 11 rebounds against Redlands and nine points and career-high 13 rebounds against R.E.V. which lead to the CBL title.
