In the May 4, 2004, edition of the San Bernardino Sun, both the female and the male athlete of the week awards went to Eisenhower High School. In addition, the recognition went to athletes of the same sport-Track and Field.
The Female Athlete of the Week recognition goes to Julie Eze. Eze was celebrated for winning the 110 and 300 hurdles as well as the triple jump against Redlands East Valley.
The Male Athlete of the Week recognition goes to Justin Askew. Askew was celebrated for winning the 110 hurdles, the 1600 meter relay, the long jump and the triple jump against Redlands East Valley.
