According to boxing promoter Ken Thompson, Marilyn and Dominic Salcido, became the first brother and sister to fight on the same card. Both won their respective bouts.
Marilyn (c/o '98), fought Carla Wilcox for six rounds, winning with scores of 60-54, 59-55, and 58-56. Marilyn's record is now 11-4-3 and is ranked No. 1 by the International Female Boxers Association (IFBA) at junior bantamweight.
Dominic (c/o '02), fought Rogelio Ramirez for four rounds, and was credited with a fourth round technical knockout. Dominic's record is now 4-0, 3 KOs.
