Edna D. Herring, principal at Eisenhower from 1989 to 1994, has been selected Superintendent of the Year by the Association of California School Administrators, Region 12. Region 12 consists of schools within San Bernardino and Riverside counties. With this award, Mrs. Herring also becomes eligible for statewide consideration.
During her tenure at Ike, Eisenhower High School was named a National Blue Ribbon School, a California Distinguished School, and a Hispanic-Ryder National School of Excellence.
