Redlands Town & Gown
Honors Former Ike Teacher

The University of Redlands Town and Gown celebrated the 20th anniversary of the luncheon and fashion show entitled "A Woman's Place is Every Place." Town and Gown is the university community support group, and the luncheon is held annually to recognize accomplishments and contributions of Inland Empire women.

This year, one of the honorees is a former EHS instructor. Jane Roberts taught French and coached tennis until her retirement. She launched the program 34 Million Friends to help restore funding to the United Nations Population Fund. The premise of the program is to have 34 million Americans send a $1 to the U.S. Committee for UNFPA. Roberts has received an award of achievement from several organizations.
