Ike Alumni Chosen to Play on
Greece's Olympic Baseball Team

Eisenhower High School graduate Nick Theadorou (class of 1993) will be playing baseball in the 2004 Summer Olympics. Even though the United States team did not qualify for the Olympics, the host country is automatically qualified. The problem for Greece, is the fact that the country does not have a baseball team. Americans of Greek ancestry were allowed to play on the Greek team.

Nick played baseball at UCLA and is currently playing in the Los Angeles Dodger's AAA minor league system. And due to his Greek heritage he will also play at the Olympics!

Check out Nick's online Olympic diary.
