Former Eisenhower High School softball player, Lindsey Benevidez (class of 05), was named in the College Spotlight column of the San Bernardino Sun newspaper. In the Wednesday, April 26, 2006, edition of The Sun, Benevidez was celebrated not only for her pitching record (2-4) and 6.76 ERA as well as batting .250 out of the lead-off spot.
