Former Ike Baseball Player Returns Home with ESPN

Eisenhower High School grad and baseball star, Darnell Coles, is in town for the Western Regionals of Little League. He is working as the television analyst for ESPN's broadcasts of the championships.

Following his graduation from Ike, Coles went on to play 14 years as a professional baseball player after being selected by Seattle in the first round of the 1980 amateur draft. He is currently a roving batting instructor for the Washington Nationals and is also the head coach at Countryside High School in Clearwater, Florida.
