Mathematics & Science Scholars Program and Top 2% Announced

The College of Natural Sciences of California State University, San Bernardino is introducing the Mathematics and Science Scholars Program (MASS). This scholarship opportunity for outstanding high school students from San Bernardino and Riverside counties is a National Science Foundation funded program and is designed to recruit students from the top 2% of graduates who are interested in pursuing careers in the fields of math, biology, computer science, chemistry, physics, or geology. Although it is a need-based scholarship program, any student from the top 2% can apply, with scholarship awards ranging from a minimum of $100 to a maximum of $3500 per year for up to four years.

Once selected as a recipient of a MASS scholarship, each student will receive many benefits in addition to financial help, including priority registration, guidance from a faculty mentor within their chosen discipline, opportunities to collaborate with other students and faculty on current research projects, as well as potential internships with local companies.
