Freshman Orientation Program Spotlighted in Sun Newspaper

350 incoming freshman participated in the recent Summer Bridge Program created by Hope Through Housing Foundation, a nonprofit organization the offers enrichment services. 30 to 40 freshmen participated each week. They learned how to read transcripts, graduation and college requirements, standardized testing requirements, and school rules and regulations. Students toured the Eisenhower campus and on the final day they discussed good study habits. Counselor Shellie Dansby-Hall and Security Officer Kevin Bishop led the coursework.
