Thursday, February 23, 2012, the fifth annual African American Student Achievement Awards took place at Chaffey High School. The event, sponsored by Rep. Joe Baca, is part of Black History Month. Two students from Eisenhower High School were recognized: Kelsey Halmilton and Tariq Henson. The students achievements were highlighted, including their plans for college and thoughts on future careers.
