The 5th annual induction ceremony for the Rialto Sports Hall of Fame will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Carl Johnson Gym, located at 214 N. Palm Avenue. Inducted this year will be Eisenhower boys' basketball coach Steve Johnson and Eisenhower alumni Frank Assumma, class of '79. Johnson won the city of Rialto's only state basketball championship. Assumma was a six-time All-America selection and three-time Division II national champion while at UC Riverside.
