Leadership Profile
On September 22, 2025, at a Special Board of Education Meeting, Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA) presented the RUSD Leadership Profile Report to guide the recruitment and selection of the next superintendent. The profile was developed using data from board interviews, community forums, focus groups, and an online survey with 869 respondents.

Top Focus Areas:
- 69%: Providing a safe environment for students and employees.
- 65%: Preparing students to be college and career ready.
- 58%: Hiring and retaining quality teachers and administrators.
Additional Priorities:
- Addressing achievement and opportunity gaps.
- Ensuring facilities can support a modern learning environment.
- Providing personalized instruction for students.
