Field Trips

The Board of Education recognizes that school-sponsored trips are an important component of a student's development and supplement and enrich the classroom learning experience. School-sponsored trips may be conducted in connection with the District's course of study or school-related social, educational, cultural, athletic, school and band activities, or other extracurricular or cocurricular activities.

Our service area strives to make each field trip experience a safe and positive one for our students and staff.

As soon as you have the details of a trip you wish to take, please email ALLTRANSPORTATIONOFFICESTAFF2@rialtousd.org with the following information so we can confirm availability:

1. Date of the Trip

2. Pick-up Location/Site

3. Destination(s)

4. Pick-up Time

5. Return Time

6. Approximate Number of Passengers that Need to Travel

After trip requests are approved, an official transportation request must be entered in Field Trip Request at least twenty (20) business days before the date of the trip by visiting www.fieldtriprequest.com.

IN-PERSON TRAINING WILL BE OFFERED ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 25, 2026 AND WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26, 2026. IT WILL BE HELD AT THE TECHNOLOGY LEARNING CENTER FROM 9:30 AM-11:00 AM. YOU WILL NEED TO EMAIL: ALLTRANSPORTATIONOFFICESTAFF2@RIALTOUSD.ORG TO SIGN UP FOR A SESSION.
