The English Language Arts program for grades (K–5 )in Rialto Unified School District focuses on building strong literacy foundations that support lifelong learning. Through engaging, standards-aligned instruction, students develop essential skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking. Our program emphasizes culturally responsive practices, early language development, and a love of reading, while supporting teachers and families in nurturing confident, capable learners. By the end of elementary school, students are prepared with the literacy skills they need to succeed across content areas and continue their academic journey with confidence.

Each one-pager includes easy access to priority standards, curriculum maps, pacing guides, rubrics, and key planning supports to streamline lesson design and support high-quality instruction.
