Interpreting & Translating Services

PROCESS:

1. Add the Translation Services account translation@rialtousd.org to the calendar invite for the event or meeting.
2. The Translation Services scheduler will review the request and assign the meeting to the next available Interpreter.
3. The assigned Interpreter will accept the calendar invite and follow up directly with the meeting organizer.

REMINDERS:

• When requesting services, you are adding an Interpreter to your team. Please ensure the calendar invite includes the correct date, time, location (or virtual link), and the total duration of the event or meeting.
• If there are any changes to the meeting details, clear and timely communication between the Organizer and the Interpreter is essential to ensure successful support.

The RUSD Team of Interpreters/ Translators specializes in Spanish - English support. If there is a need for Other Language support, we contract out to an external team. 

If you are in need of Interpretation or Translation of Other Languages, please follow the Standard Request Procedure and clearly indicate the language needed in your request. The team scheduler will review the request and coordinate services with an external team accordingly.

Please submit your request with at least two weeks notice. Coverage is not guaranteed.

1. Go to RUSD Service Portal
2. Click on "I have something new to add..." 
3. Click on "...a new translation request"
4. Complete all required fields to submit your request. 
5. Follow email updates, you will be notified when request is complete. 

• If you are prompted to login - use the same credentials you use to log into your RUSD device & Synergy. 
• Avoid requesting translation of images
• Copyrighted materials will not be translated unless permission is granted by author 
• If you need to cancel a translation request, please email translation@rialtousd.org
