Mission Statement

The mission of the Rialto USD Computer Science for All Initiative is to develop graduates who have explicit computer science technical skills and knowledge, needed to succeed in a technology-driven workforce and global society, as distinguished by:

  • coherent and equitable access to computer science education

  • responsible digital citizenry

The Computer Science for All Initiative in Rialto Unified School District is committed to equipping every student with the critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills needed to succeed in today’s evolving workforce and global society. In alignment with the district’s mission to connect students with future opportunities, this initiative ensures equitable access to computer science education for all learners, fostering creativity, collaboration, and responsible digital citizenship.

By integrating essential workplace skills such as communication, adaptability, and innovation, we empower students to go beyond using technology—to designing, analyzing, and leading in a technology-driven world. Our curriculum, spanning elementary through high school, is designed to support diverse learning pathways leading to college, careers, and entrepreneurship.

Through hands-on experiences, interdisciplinary learning, and industry partnerships, this initiative reinforces Rialto USD’s commitment to high academic standards, community involvement, and career readiness—preparing every student for success in a digital future.
