OVERVIEW
The Induction Program is a two-year, job-embedded experience designed to support and develop teachers holding a preliminary credential in their first years of teaching. Teachers receive support through individualized one-on-one mentoring, targeted professional learning opportunities, and the implementation of an Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) aligned with the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs). Induction teachers engage in a collaborative inquiry process adapted from Deming’s Continuous Improvement Model to promote reflective practice and ongoing professional growth. An Early Completion Option is available for eligible candidates who meet the criteria.
The Induction Program is fully aligned with Rialto Unified School District policies and upholds a commitment to equity, access, and non-discrimination in all aspects of its implementation.
