TEACHER INDUCTION PROGRAM

The Induction Program is a two-year, job-embedded experience designed to support and develop teachers holding a preliminary credential in their first years of teaching. Teachers receive support through the Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) aligned with the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs). Induction teachers engage in a collaborative inquiry process adapted from Deming's Continuous Improvement Model to promote reflective practice and ongoing professional growth. An Early Completion Option is available for eligible candidates who meet the criteria. The Induction Program is fully aligned with Rialto Unified School District policies and upholds a commitment to equity, access, and non-discrimination in all aspects of its implementation.

EARLY COMPLETION OPTION

Senate Bill 57, which established the Early Completion Option (ECO) for Induction Programs in California. The Senate bill was designed to provide a faster-paced completion option for Induction Teachers who meet eligibility criteria. This option is available to EXPERIENCED and EXCEPTIONAL CANDIDATES who demonstrate the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies required of Induction participants completing the traditional two-year Induction Program.
